Doris Mary Reid (McCoy) passed from this world peacefully at Rideaucrest Home in Kingston, ON, on Friday, October 13, 2017, in her 96th year. Her laughter, humour and her zest for life will be missed by all who knew her.  Beloved wife to her predeceased husband, Martin J. Reid. Loving mother of  daughter Priscilla (late Joseph Gommer), son Sean (Roselyn) and predeceased daughter Linda Pfeiffer. Loving grandmother to Megan, Reade, Devon, Erin, Brendan, Joel and Connor and her great-grandchildren, Ashton, Tyler, Matthew, Oliver, Maeve and Morgan. She will be greatly missed by her fourth floor family of residents and staff at Rideaucrest, who we would like to thank for the care, and companionship they provided her.  Doris (A long term breast cancer survivor) had a rich, full life of world travels and bus trips with her husband and other family members and friends. She loved her cottage living at Bob's and Loughborough Lakes and spent many pleasant hours with friends and family there.  A Memorial Reception in her honour, will be held at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, RECEPTION AND CELEBRATION CENTRE, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, Kingston, on Saturday, November 4th between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.  (Please enter the Reception Centre from the rear parking lot).  As expressions of sympathy, donations in Doris' memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
