May 1959 – October 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Zetta will be missed dearly by her husband Ed Sr., her two sons Eddie (Tara) and Nick (Shannon) and by her grandchildren Lucas, Levi, Bentley and Collins. Zetta was the sister of John (Donna) and Gord (Martha) Hitch. Survived by her father John Hitch. Predeceased by her mother Winnifred “Queenie” Hitch. Will be remembered by brothers-in-law John (Ann), Gerald, Alphonsus (Bernice), Robert (Joanne) and sister-in-law Laura (Brent) Young. Zetta will be forever remembered by nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home at 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (392 Palace Road, Kingston) on Friday October 13, 2017 at 12pm. Following the service there will be a formal procession to Glenhaven Memorial Gardens for the burial.The family would like to invite everyone to the Ambassador Hotel and Conference Centre in Kingston for a Reception from 1:30 until 4pm on Friday. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the M.S. Society in memory of Zetta.
