Lee, Edward Everett (Ted) - WO (Ret'd)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ted at Rideaucrest Home, Kingston on Friday, September 29, 2017 in his 89th year. Devoted husband of 62 years to Mary (Hubbs). Loving father of Susan Cameron (Hugh) of Wellington, and Catherine Stefan (Andrew) of Kingston. Cherished Grandpa of five grandchildren whom he adored, Matthew (Sarah), Hugh, Christopher (Jess), Marianne and Iain. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (Armstrong) and William Lee, brothers Tom, Bill, Alex, Webb and sister Evelyn. Survived by brother Hugh of Kirkland Lake and many nieces and nephews. Ted was a proud 25 year veteran of the Canadian Army and a retired CIBC Mortgage and Loans Manager. A sincere thank you from Ted's family to the staff of Rideaucrest for their exceptional compassion and care. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m., Saturday, October 7th followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. with Rev. Tim Milley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
