Obituary of Doreen Agnes Lloyd

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79. "Susie", as most people knew her, will be extremely missed by her son Mark of Waterloo. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Lynden Lloyd, parents Luther and Nina Embury, brothers Ivan and Dale, and sisters Eunice and Karen.

Susie will be missed by brother Orval and sister’s Inez and Janice. Survived by sister-in-law Betty (Lloyd) Scott and predeceased by brother-in-law Erle Lloyd. Susie will be remembered by all of her nephews, nieces of the Lloyd and Embury families, and many friends from St. Marys of the Lake including Brian Phelan. Also a special thanks to Mark and Doreen’s friend Adele Smith and her son Christopher.

Special thanks to the PSW’s who cared for Susie. The family of Susie would like to give a special thank you to Kingston Health Sciences Centre and the ICU staff who did a tremendous job in caring for Susie. Thank you to Meals on Wheels in Kingston and surrounding area for their support over the years.

The cremation of Doreen Lloyd has taken place at the James Reid Crematorium. The family has asked for donations to be made to the Ontario Lung Association.

Will be dearly missed by son Mark Lynden Lloyd.
