Obituary of Walter Roantree

Passed away peacefully at the Fairmount Home in Glenburnie on Thursday September 21, 2017. Walter will be sincerely missed by his loving wife Joan Roantree. Predeceased by his sister Anna Smith, Jean Crawford, five brothers Charles, Robert, Harry, Joseph and George Roantree. Walter will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews and friends. He was such a caring man to anyone who entered his life.

A visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Sunday September 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 and Monday September 25 from 2-4 and 7-9. The service for Walter will be held at the Princess Street United Church at 11am on Tuesday September 26. A reception at the church will follow the service. The interment will take place at the Cataraqui Cemetery at the conclusion of the reception.
