Obituary of Bertha Hannah Busch

Passed away peacefully on September 11, 2017 at Trillium Ridge in her 90th year. Predeceased by husband Percy and son Richard. Greatly missed by son Rodney, daughter-in-law Carol, granddaughter Cindy (Leo) Green and great-granddaughter Erin. Long-time member of ACW, Christ Church Cataraqui and a volunteer for Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the staff at Trillium Ridge for their compassionate care over the years: Dr. William Beck, Lindsey LaBrash NP, the nurses and PSWs. The family would also like to thank the nurses and PSWs for their thorough and sensitive palliative care. 

A visitation will take place at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Thursday, September 14 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held on Friday September 15 in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home at 10:30am followed by the burial at Christ Church Cemetery located on Sydenham Road. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception at Christ Church Parish Centre reception hall (990 Sydenham Road) following the burial. Bertha loved all things beautiful, roses and carnations being a few of her favorites. Flowers and donations will be gratefully appreciated.
