Obituary of Rosina Murano

MURANO, Rosina

1928-2017

Died peacefully with her family by her side, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, August 10th, in her 90th year.  Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Noele.  Much loved mom of Pasquale (Gwen) and Giuseppe, nana of Katherine Coles (Dan), Abigail Murano (Bill), Noele Murano (Aryn) and Nate Murano (Lyndsey) and bisnonna of Ella, Isaac, Faith, Sam, Eli, Ari and Ava Rose.  Rosina was predeceased by her parents Alessia and Giovanni Gencarelli, brothers Natale, Francesco, Luigi, Angelo, Salvatore, Giuseppe, Tomaso and sisters Carmina and Rosaria. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law Ortenza Murano, Francesca Murano and Maria Gencarelli and many nieces and nephews, especially Ida. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre and KGH (Emergency and Kidd 9).  Friends will be received on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 392 Palace Road, Kingston.  Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  For those who wish donations in Rosina's memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Action Kingston, the Alzheimer's Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
