Obituary of Bruce MacDonell

MACDONELL, Bruce
Peacefully, with loved ones surrounding him at Kingston General Hospital, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Bruce MacDonell, in his 57th year, is predeceased by his father Nicholas Angus Neil MacDonell.  He is survived by his loving sisters and brothers; Catherine Wenek (Karol), Angela MacDonell, Sharon Blais, late Martin (Linda Carswell-MacDonell), Carol McQueen, Valerie Simpson, Barry McKeigan (Tim), Jennifer MacDonell-Marcotte (Norman), Heather Heikkila (Harry), Chris MacDonell and special cousin Greg Ridge (Donna).  Bruce will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by many loving extended family members especially, Marg and Spike.  As Bruce was a long-time volunteer at Extendicare Kingston and a participant of Special Olympics, memorial contributions may be made to either of these organizations and would be gratefully appreciated by his family.   A celebration of life for close friends and family will be held at his home on Monday, August 7 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
