Obituary of William Dean Allum

ALLUM, William Dean
August 19, 1926 – July 16, 2017
Bill passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital in the presence of his family on July 16, 2017 in his 91st year. Bill was the beloved husband of 67 years to Ruth Irene (Peters). Predeceased by his son Timothy Peters Allum (1963), brother Jack Allum and parents Leslie and Muriel Allum. Survived by his loving daughters Christine Muriel Camilleri (George) and Lori Leslie Allum. Will also be missed dearly by sister-in-law Edna Lane (Don), brother-in-law Robert Burnside and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  Bill’s family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home at 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, on Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at the Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, 4080 Bath Road at 6:30pm.  The Allum family would like to give a warm thank you to the staff of KGH for the wonderful care and support that they received.  In Bill’s memory the family asks that donations be made to the Edith Rankin Memorial United Church or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.  Members of the Royal Edward of Cataraqui Masonic Lodge No. 92 are respectfully invited to attend a service of remembrance at the funeral home, Wednesday at 6:30pm.
