Obituary of Cindy D. Newell

Correctional Services Canada – Officer for 25 years
Cindy peacefully passed away in Kingston with her beloved family by her side. Treasured by her two daughters Caitlin and Tamara Newell-Bell. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Mildred Newell. Cindy leaves behind her sisters Gail Norris (Dave), Blossom Maher and Pauline Anthony. Many Nieces and Nephews; Frank and Kim Norris, Valerie, Paul and Cindy (Alister) Maher, Lorell (Mario) and Lindsay (Conrad) Anthony.  Great nephews Loïk, Jude, and Carter.  Adored by Marjorie Bell (Anthony) and their son William, and Marley Bell-Blake.  She will be lovingly remembered by dear friends and colleagues including; Mary D., Lisa Q., Gina C., Mary W., Mado L., Pat A., Sue R., Joyleen G., Judy G., Marilyn S., Linda M., and Claire.  Cindy was a proud Humane Society volunteer for 15+ years and a delighted foster parent of sick/recovering cats for 7 years.  Special thank you to Cindy’s nurse Wendy Orr and the other members of her health care team at the KGH.  Cindy’s service will be held on Wednesday July 19, at the James Reid Funeral Home at 1900 John Counter Blvd. There will be a visitation prior to service from 1:00pm until 1:50pm with service to follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Humane Society would be very much appreciated.
