GRIBBON, Joan Bernadette
Peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre - KGH, on Friday, July 7, 2017, in her 86th year.  Joan (nee Woods), beloved wife of Ira Gribbon who predeceased her on July 8, 2015.  Loving mother of Walter.  Predeceased by her parents Walter and Emily (nee Myers) Woods, and her sister, Lorraine Williams. Visitation at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Thursday, July 13 from 8:30 - 9:30 am, followed by the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in ST. JAMES' CHAPEL of ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (279 Johnson Street at Clergy Street), at 10:00 am. The Rite of Committal with Prayers at Cataraqui Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the James Reid Reception Centre.  As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kingston Humane Society in Mrs. Gribbon's memory.
