Obituary of Susan I.M. Beacock

Beacock, Susan I. M. (née DeGurse), aged 71, died peacefully Tuesday morning in the Cardiac Sciences Unit of Kingston General Hospital, with her son Bruce by her side.    The youngest child of Harold and Cora DeGurse, Susan was predeceased by her brother William (Billy) DeGurse.  
She was married to her high school sweetheart, Gary Beacock, until his passing in 2012.  They shared a life of love and friendship, and made friends wherever the wind took them.  Together they had three children, Gordon, (deceased in 2013), Nancy, and Bruce.  She had seven grandchildren, Jessica, Paige, Max, Ally, Adam, Connor, and Delaney.  Though she did not get to spend as much time with all of them as she would have liked, she loved them all dearly and talked about them often.
As per Susan's wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband and son in their home town of Cochrane.
