Obituary of June Y. Carruthers

CARRUTHERS, June Y (nee Woodbeck)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of June Carruthers on Sunday, May 10, 2020, in Napanee at the age of 95.  June, beloved wife of Late Malcolm Carruthers.  She is survived by her nephews Robert Woodbeck (Oliver, BC), Vernon Woodbeck (Prince Edward County, ON), Joseph Woodbeck (Harrison Hot Springs, BC), nieces Charlene Smith (Cobourg, ON), Darlene Fairman (Campbelford, ON), Lucille Hilson (Peterborough, ON) and many great nephews and nieces. 

A private family graveside service will be held at the Bath United Church Cemetery, where June will be reunited with her beloved Malcolm.  For those who wish, donations may be made to Camp Trillium Odd Fellow & Rebekah Island (formerly Garratt’s Island) in June’s memory.
