We have many fond memories with Annie! She came to our Napanee Fisheries office after we were moved into the CFIA. She was our Admin Assistant, and she spent 2 or 3 days a week with us. She immediately fit into our small office. We shared many stories and laughs together and we came to know her as a very kind and caring person, with a lot of character! Annie also had a significant impact on our lives. Derek, the office supervisor, and I often talked about getting motorcycles, but we were all talk! Annie also mentioned she'd like to get her license and ride! One day she showed up at the office and told us she got her motorcycle license that weekend! Derek and I were shocked! Shortly after she showed up riding a motorcycle!! We were totally shown up by her! She motivated us to sign up for a course and get our license and bikes!...something I would never had done! Within a few months we all had motorcycles, and I fondly remember when the three of us rode together one afternoon!...it was the one and only time we rode together. Since then I have had many adventures on my bike, several with my wife, Isabelle, who also got her license and a bike!...something she would never had done! We owe it all to Annie, whose courage and character, added a new dimension and lasting impression in our lives! Thank you Annie! We will miss you.
